Mattress Recall Alert: What Columbia and Mt. Pleasant Families Should Check

At Mattress by Appointment Columbia / Mt. Pleasant, we believe buying a mattress should include knowing what you’re bringing into your home. We’re sharing this information to help local families check whether their mattress is affected and understand what to do next.

What was recalled?

On September 24, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced three recalls covering approximately 49,460 Kesyup, WinxMatrs and Emerspring mattresses sold through Amazon.

The affected mattresses fail to meet mandatory federal flammability standards, creating a fire hazard. No incidents or injuries were reported in the three recall notices. These recalls apply to specific products—not every mattress sold under these brands or every mattress purchased online.

How to check your mattress

Compare your mattress, sewn-in labels and purchase history with the official notice for its brand.

What should you do if yours is affected?

CPSC says to stop using the recalled mattress immediately and contact the company responsible for its recall.

Kesyup: Contact ZCK01 at [email protected] for a full refund. Follow the official notice’s marking, photo submission and disposal instructions.
WinxMatrs: Contact Xinan Home at [email protected] for a full refund. The notice explains the required mattress markings and photos.
Emerspring: Contact Style Homeware at [email protected] for a free fitted cover that brings the mattress into compliance with the flammability standard.
